TOP MARKS FOR THE U12'S AT M&S, MEADOWHALL

On Saturday the 13th March the U12 squad of Norton Lees JFC went on a mission to pack bags like never before at the Meadowhall branch of Marks & Spencer.

As it happened the day was double booked so we had to share half of the tills with one of Sheffield's many Boy Scout Troops and this, regrettably, had a huge impact on the amount of funds we could expect to raise.

From two shifts on the day the lads great efforts managed to raise over £330.00 to put towards the players weekend away in May.

So a big thank you to Marks & Spencer for allowing us to have a slot in the first place and an even bigger thank you to Amanda and Chris Martin for all their help in making it possible.

Chris Salt (U15's) signed by SWFC

Congratulations to Chris Salt who has been taken on by Sheffield Wed academy after only two weeks of his six week trial. Chris (and his dad) have told SWFC that he wishes to complete the season with Norton and they have kindly agreed to their requests. Well done Chris and good luck for the future, you will always be welcome at Norton. Just need 4 more tremendous performances from you now in the remaining games.
